In the treatment of breast cancer, Anabrez tablet is used and its generic name is Anastrozole. It is used in hormone therapy in post-menopausal women. Basically, this medicine will lower the hormone which is responsible for the growth of cancer cells. This will slow down and stop the growth of cancer cells in the patient's body. Usually, you can take this medicine by mouth orally with or without food or as directed by your doctor once a day. To get the most benefits use it regularly same time each day.
Side Effects
Anabrez Tablet has several side effects, but all side effects are not seen in all patients. Sometimes side effects are not even seen in any patients and they recover soon. If effects are seen in you that doesn’t mean you will get recover late. The thing you have to do is follow the doctor's prescription strictly till the end of the treatment.
While consuming this medicine you may face some side effects, some are not serious and some may be very serious. Headache, bone pain, hot flashes, trouble sleeping, dizziness, stomach upset, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, weight gain, increased coughing, sore throat, and weakness. These effects are not serious, if these last and get worse immediately consult the doctor. ● In the past, have you ever had any problems related to heart, bone, and liver problems, high blood pressure, and blood clots tell your doctor before starting treatment.
● After taking it will make you feel dizzy so do not drive or operate heavy machinery for safety reasons.
● Try to avoid the consumption of alcohol because it interacts with medicines and affects your treatment duration.
● It is suggested to consume medicine as the doctor prescribes, do not overdose. If by mistake patients have taken in excess quantity, immediately consult the doctor for further medical attention.
● In case of a missed dose, take it as soon as you remember but make sure the time should be more than 6 hour of next dose.
